Responsibilities & Context:

1. Dairy Farm & Cow Shade Maintenance

• Ensure smooth operation and regular maintenance of cow shades, fans, ventilation units, sprinklers, and lighting systems.

• Conduct routine inspections of housing structures, flooring, bedding systems, and drainage lines.

2. TMR & Fodder Processing Maintenance

• Maintain TMR machinery including mixers, conveyors, weighers, chopping machines, and related equipment.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of silage processing equipment and storage systems.

3. Manure & Fertilizer Processing

• Ensure smooth functioning of manure processing units, slurry systems, vermicompost beds, and related mechanical components.

• Maintain equipment used in fertilizer production, sieving, drying, and storage.

4. Biogas Plant Operation & Maintenance

• Monitor biogas plant performance and ensure efficient functioning of digesters, gas pipelines, burners, and safety control systems.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain gas storage and distribution systems.

5. Milk Parlor & Milk Processing Plant Maintenance

• Oversee regular maintenance of milking parlor equipment including pumps, vacuum lines, sensors, and milking units.

• Maintain milk processing machinery such as pasteurizers, chillers, storage tanks, separators, and filling machines.

6. Semen Processing Lab Maintenance

• Ensure uninterrupted operation of semen processing lab equipment including biological freezers, centrifuges, microscopes, sealing units, and LN₂ storage systems.

• Monitor calibration, sanitation, and compliance with lab safety standards. 7. Electrical Maintenance

• Maintain and troubleshoot generators, electrical panels, distribution boards, motors, pumps, farm lights, and all electrical circuits.

• Ensure safety compliance and timely preventive maintenance of all electrical appliances.

8. Water Systems & Utilities Maintenance

• Maintain all water pumps, supply lines, borewells, filtration units, and water treatment plant (WTP).

• Ensure proper drainage, waste water flow, and regular cleaning of lines.

9. Preventive Maintenance & Compliance

• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and utilities.

• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety, biosecurity, and operational standards.

10. Vendor & Spare Parts Management

• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance materials, service contracts, and emergency repairs.

• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and ensure availability as per maintenance plan.
