Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and deploy efficient and reliable C/C++ code to develop effective embedded firmware.
∎ Development of embedded firmware and hardware for IoT-enabled products, wearables, toys, and services.
∎ Collaborate with other engineers on technical and design issues.
∎ Perform testing to validate product features and design, perform unit tests, and assist in performance/system testing.
∎ Prepare reports on project status, code documentation, issues, and bugs.
∎ Conduct various tests of embedded devices and prepare test reports, flowcharts, presentations, comparison sheets, etc.
∎ Prepare and maintain proper documentation and troubleshoot the system, performance, and functional issues of products.
∎ Collaborate with the hardware and QA teams to validate product features and system functionality.
∎ Participate in code reviews, brainstorming meetings, cross-team meetings, and training sessions.
∎ Good coding skills in C or C++. (candidates will be tested)
∎ Creative skills in problem-solving and developing Algorithms.
∎ Structured code development methods and debugging techniques.
∎ Ability to break down complex problems and drive towards a solution.
∎ Knowledge of embedded coding standards and debug experience in C.
∎ Working experience with RTOS, Linux, and Docker.
∎ Working experience with Various Architecture / platforms like- AVR(8-bit), ARM (Cortex-M0, M3, M4), Arduino, ESP, etc.
∎ Experience in using MCU peripherals such as I2C, SPI, Serial-UART, TIMER, EEPROM, CAN, I2S, USB, ADC, DAC, DMA, etc.
∎ You must know how to probe the hardware to see if your firmware is operating properly (e.g., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, test benches, etc.)
∎ Proven competence and desire to document properly and complete tasks from beginning to end with minimum supervision.
∎ Experience in Python is a strong plus.
∎ Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.
∎ Experience with source code control management tools like git.
∎ Adherent to teamwork and always representing the team in work and achievement.
∎ Passionate to solve problems ensuring quality.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English.
