Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck Foreman (Workshop) to supervise and coordinate all workshop-related maintenance and repair activities for dump trucks. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, team supervision, and close coordination with operations to ensure vehicle availability, safety, and efficiency.
Supervise daily maintenance, repair, and servicing of dump trucks
Assign jobs to mechanics, electricians, and helpers
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed strictly
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in dump trucks
Monitor breakdown reports and ensure quick vehicle turnaround
Maintain maintenance logs, job cards, and spare parts records
Coordinate with operations team to minimize vehicle downtime
Ensure proper use and availability of tools, equipment, and consumables
Monitor spare parts consumption and inventory control
Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards and housekeeping
Guide and train mechanics for skill improvement and work quality
Report major repairs, accidents, or abnormal failures to management
