Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Skills Required: Ability to Work Under Pressure, good communication skill

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide curative primary level care to patients in a refugee camp setting
∎ To ensure that clinical protocols for treatment of common morbidities are adhered to
∎ To appropriately refer patients to secondary level care as required
∎ To seek advice and discuss complex cases with other medical colleagues
∎ Ensure all the instruments, equipment, and accessories are in place and functioning.
∎ Ensure proper clinical area appearance, sterilization (in concert with the nurse lead), and restocking by creating daily, weekly, and monthly assistant task lists.
∎ Support management of all emergency patients and handles patient/parent treatment concerns.
∎ Ensure autoclaving of instruments in the morning at HF and be sure that a logbook is maintained, on a daily basis.
∎ Ensure medical waste is disposed of properly on a regular basis.
∎ Regularly updates clinical area procedures for better patient flow to reduce waiting time, among others
∎ Support and ensure that periodic performance appraisals and other management reviews are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Monitor clinical staff work hours, sick days, training days and vacation time in close collaboration with the Human Resources Department
∎ Monitor treatment control each quarter by evaluating treatment records for adherence to protocols, antibiotic use, medicines consumption, among others.
∎ With the HIS team and other staff working with patient records, ensure all necessary data tools are in place to ensure data capture is recorded and kept in a confidential manner.
∎ In consultation with the Field team and other staff assigned to obtain patient feedback, ensure accuracy of feedback results, and provide all staff with timely feedback on any area of deficiency and improvement.
∎ Ensure excellent teamwork and cooperation between the clinical staff and with field team staff through the Field Program Officers and or the Field coordinator.
∎ Surveillance, Rapid Investigation, and Outbreak Response: Support Community Based Surveillance through leading rapid investigation teams, contact tracing activities, home-based care of Covid-19 cases in coordination with facility team leads, and community health team.
∎ Provide clinical care to Covid-19 patients in SARI-ITCs as may be required
∎ Ensure implementation of Infection Prevention and Control practices at all times in either ITCs, PHCs, or in community.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 45 years
∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and/or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time per year to insecure countries or locations
