Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for OPERATING Cr 300 BDT, Synthetic Footwear Division (+ 800 team members and growing.....) Production, P & L, Synthetic product development and People Management
∎ Gross Margin:
∎ active participant in budgetary planning
∎ work towards achieving the budgeted Gross Margin for each month & the given financial year
∎
∎ Technical & Development:
∎ Nurture product development with new innovative ideas and drive the new development projects to align with market dynamics in terms of design, compounding, USP & costing.
∎ Expertise in the production processes of various types & categories Synthetic footwear.
∎ Hands-on experience in trouble shooting production issues related to chemical formulation-compounding, mould related critical points, special machine parameters, statistical process controls, etc. for both sample and bulk production.
∎ Must be capable of executing & sustaining the appropriate processes and procedures.
∎ Suggest ways on how to broaden the depth/breadth of product range.
∎ Application knowledge on Lean-Six Sigma and QMS practices will be an added advantage.
∎ Teaching-Coaching-Mentoring:
∎ All front-end team members on problem solving, trouble shooting and continuous improvement activities repetitively to achieve "FIRST TIME RIGHT" quality.
∎
∎ Quality:
∎ Ensure pre-agreed Quality Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
∎ Perform root cause analysis to arrive and implement permanent solution to the quality issues in order to continuously improve the product quality.
∎ Planning:
∎ Staffing, appraisals, promotions, behavioral training, etc.,
∎ Responsible for maintaining good working relations with all cross functional teams and fellow Team Members
∎ Able to plan, organize and lead technical meetings with respective stake holders as & when required.
∎ Good spoken & written English.

∎ Knowledge of PC (windows, outlook & excel).

∎ Managing end-to-end synthetic footwear division with designed annual production capacity of:
∎ Thongs: 24 m pairs
∎ PVC: 3.5 m pairs
∎ PU: 1.0 m pairs
∎ EVA: 2.0 m pairs
∎ DIP: 0.8 m pairs
∎ Achieve Operations KPI Target:
∎ Budgeted Gross Margin %
∎ Quantity & On time delivery
∎ Production Cost / Pair (Material-Labor-Overhead)
∎ Shop Returns & Customer claims %
∎ In-process factory rework %
∎ Factory Finished Goods reject %
∎ Material Inventory (Maximum limit)

∎ Monthly freezing, complete tooling for each article, capacity up-gradation (operator multi-skill development) & product line scheduling.
∎ SOPs execution:
∎ through-out the work flow (technical, production, QA, HR compliance).
∎ HR:
∎ staffing (retention, attrition, new hiring), appraisals, promotions, training & succession planning.
∎ Coaching & Mentoring:
∎ Minimum 30% of activities should be focused on Coaching-Mentoring (C&M) his executive staffs to develop them to reach the next higher levels on:
∎ Problem Solving
∎ Root Cause Analysis
∎ Decision Making
∎ Time Management
∎ Lead by Example
∎ Communication: effective with all relevant depts...in a maximum of 24 hrs.
∎ Continuous Improvement Practices: Drive and motivate the team to come with new ideas on improving the productivity, quality, production friendly tools, methods, materials, processes, cost saving suggestions and execute them if the trial runs proves worthy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 43 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 15 years' of experience in developing / producing / quality controlling the synthetic footwear products (PVC, Flip-flop, PU, DIP, TPR, Rubber, TPE, EVA etc.,)
∎ Minimum 07 years' of exclusive experience in shop-floor production management & control.
