To strengthen our manufacturing operations in the plastic industries sector, we are inviting applications for the position of Deputy Manager – Plastic Industries.
Position Overview
The Deputy Manager will assist in overseeing production, quality control, and operational efficiency of plastic manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
Supervise daily production activities of plastic manufacturing units.
Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule.
Monitor machine utilization, manpower allocation, and workflow optimization.
Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure product quality meets company and regulatory standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures.
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Maintenance & Resource Management
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Ensure proper inventory control of raw materials and finished goods.
Optimize resource utilization to minimize operational costs.
Team Leadership
Supervise and guide production staff and shift supervisors.
Provide training and ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
Maintain a safe and disciplined working environment.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare production reports and performance analysis.
Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and sales teams.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Chemical Engineering or related field.
MBA or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in plastic manufacturing or related industries.
Experience in injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion processes will be preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of plastic production processes and machinery.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and analytical ability.
Good communication skills in English and Bangla.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
