Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Relevant IT certifications (CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in healthcare software, HMS, EMR/EHR systems will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, PHP, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks).
- Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
- Familiarity with API integration, system security, and data privacy standards.
- Experience with Linux/Windows servers and version control systems (Git).
- Hands-on experience with networking, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with HMS, EMR/EHR systems will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and peripheral devices.

Responsibilities & Context: Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain hospital software applications and information systems.
- Customize and support Hospital Management System (HMS), EMR/EHR, and other clinical applications.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to understand system requirements.
- Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain databases, APIs, and system integrations.
- Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and system reports.
- Provide technical support and training to end users when required.
- Keep systems updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hospital hardware, software, and network systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, applications, and hospital management systems (HMS).
