Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and chemical samples for laboratory testing and experiments.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, and chromatographs (HPLC/GC).
Perform stability studies and shelf-life testing to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Document all test results, observations, and calculations accurately in batch records and laboratory notebooks.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, or other relevant quality standards.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and report deviations to the quality control supervisor.
Develop or validate new analytical methods for testing and quality assurance procedures.
Monitor chemical inventory, including managing stock levels and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
Collaborate with production and R&D teams to troubleshoot quality issues and improve processes.
