Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Health Care Science/Rehabilitation Science any renowned university and Master in Health care profession is preferable.
∎ Minimum 2 first division/Class till Bachelor level & in case of CGPA 3.00 (out of 4) in Master level. No 3rd division/class will be considered.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Disabled Rehabilitation & Research Association (DRRA) is a non-government, voluntary development organization in Bangladesh working for the destitute and person with disabilities since 1996.
∎ Disability Inclusion & Capacity Building Manager-EHD will work as a member of the EHD project technical team & will be reportable to Technical Advisor. She/ He will supervise the Inclusion Officer of the project. He/ She should have quality of Technical knowledge`s and take key role for capacity building for mainstream health workforce ,Downstream partner staffs and Disabled People Organizations (DPO) for inclusion of persons with disabilities.
∎ Job Nature: Project Contract.
∎ Job Location: Barisal, Khulna, Dhaka (with 40% field visit at project location).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize all training and capacity building program for Disability inclusive Health including meeting, workshop, seminar of the project;
∎ Develop Training Manuel, schedule, guideline under guidance of Technical Advisor;
∎ Directly guide and supervise the Inclusion Officer working for disability inclusion and rehabilitation issue based in project areas;
∎ Develop project Technical tools under guidance of Technical Advisor;
∎ Collaboration with E-Health Technical team, ensure disability inclusive health & rehabilitation services to the persons with disabilities and Risk to disabilities;
∎ keep coordination with other implementing Partner organizations, community organizations, employers, training providers, clients and their families according to project demands;
∎ Monitor the staff and evaluate their work and to find out the weak areas to developing their skill for achieving the targets of the project in a timely & efficient manner and report it to the concerned person; Assist to Technical Advisor for any disability inclusive health and rehabilitation issue;
∎ Ensure good quality of project documentation like, lesson learn, case studies, good practice, MSC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 38 years
∎ Minimum 6 years post qualification experience in the field of Rehabilitation, where 3 years in Managerial level positions preferable with any National/International organization.
∎ Previous experience in Mulit- disciplinary Team is preferable;
∎ Good facilitation skills;
∎ Minimum 3 years Managerial/ Senior level experiences in Disability/ Rehabilitation program
∎ Understanding on Medical, Social & Rights model for persons with disability Rehabilitation;
∎ Good communication skills in both oral and written English and Bangla;
∎ Good computer skills e.g. MS words, power point, Outlook, excels etc;
∎ Experience in Training & Capacity building activities;
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to DRRA vision, mission, and long term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized persons with disabilities. Candidates must be capable of displaying great learning agility, support and encouragement of knowledge sharing across Project/ projects, to the ultimate benefit of all of DRRA's mission wide initiatives.
