∎ Should have experience in QUALITY ASSURANCE, Quality Control/ Audit, Quality Inspection, Quality Management System, etc.
∎ The Candidate should have 15-20 yrs. of experience in the quality department in any reputed Knit Composite factory, out of which 2 years as a DGM or Head of Dept.
∎ Candidate should be able to establish standard quality parameters in all segment of the department.
∎ He should have the knowledge to ensure quality on each manufacturing process of textile and garments i.e. from fabric to shipment.
∎ Should be proactive, sincere, dynamic & result oriented.
∎ Should have capacity to produce different reports through computer applications
∎ Should have experience in QUALITY ASSURANCE, Quality Control/ Audit, Quality Inspection, Quality Management System, etc.
∎ The Candidate should have 15-20 yrs. of experience in the quality department in any reputed Knit Composite factory, out of which 2 years as a DGM or Head of Dept.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop, manage implement, communicate and maintain a quality procedure to bring the Company's Quality Assurance System and Policies to meet the quality standards and buyers’ requirements.
∎ Effectively interact with the Technical, Development, and Production team to maintain product quality; ensuring that targets are achieved.
∎ Good knowledge on QMS and technical audit of Knit composite Products.
∎ Assisting technicians with checking patterns/specification and construction, identifying and resolving production impracticalities in an appropriately timely manner, and to make a final decision on quality according to company standards and requirements.
∎ Supervise in the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving comments on the production.
∎ Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports to be communicated with all related departments. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training; responsible for each aspect of quality control and product assembly in the factory.
∎ Ensuring all quality & production issue by Auditing & Controlling; Production planning & machine maintenance and also proper maintenance of the MMR.
∎ Following up the orders, productions and shipments to ensure products can be produced and delivered on time to meet critical deadlines.
∎ Review production plan with capacity and strength and ensure timely shipment target.
∎ Ensure production target of the line as per production plan; Ensure line balancing as per layout.
∎ Ensure combined production report of fabric, cutting, print, embroidery, sewing, finishing and shipment.
∎ Ensure effective communication with supply chain team lead for smooth operation and production maintaining quality.
∎ Job Context:
∎ AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export-Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality DGM for the Textile and Garments Division. He will be responsible to deal with all types of quality issues in the garment making process, take immediate corrective actions and should set the quality norms to ensure that rejections of fabrics and garments are minimized & update Quality Standard.
