Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring 100% utilization of the knitting capacity of the factory.
∎ Perform knitting sourcing, pricing and costing based on guidelines provided by the management.
∎ Guide the team to prepare knitting plan according to fabric TNA (Time and Action) and coordinate with the planning team to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).
∎ Maintain close coordination with external factory & other stack holders, production & planning teams to ensure TNA/OTD.
∎ Analyze fabric requirements from Marketing and provide fabric technical support.
∎ Collaborate closely with internal marketing and external factory technical teams to develop new innovations, follow fashion trends, and meet special requirements of buyers.
∎ Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required.Review complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews corrective actions with appropriate personnel.
∎ Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management

∎ AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. AKDL Extention Unit is the Knitting Project and a LEED Certified Green Factory located at Dhamrai, Dhaka. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager (DGM) for the Knitting Division to lead the Knitting Production Team.Job Location: Rajphulbaria, Savar, Dhaka.
