Job Context:
∎ The person will be required to look after the Administration, Security, Fire safety & House-Keeping in Fakir Group.
∎ Retired Army / Equivalent ranked (minimum Colonel) will be preferable .

Job Responsibilities:
∎ ### Administration Activities:
∎ Develop, review, and improve the administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
∎ Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.
∎ Assess compliance or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
∎ To support the compliance team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare corrective action plan (CAP) based on External, Internal, First party & third-party social compliance audit.
∎ Preparing, organizing and managing factory audits as per buyers' requirements including various social, ethical, environmental, technical, security, fire safety and QMS audits.
∎ Should have experience to deal & manage RMG Sustainability Council.
∎ Liaison with BGMEA, BKMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire service & Civil Defense etc.
∎ Manage any kind of undesirable situation that require administrative support.
∎ Handling legal affairs like contract deed making, hearing of pending cases of the group by utilizing lawyers (both full times appointed & external retainers).
∎ Look after company's legal matters related to local police/RAB, law enforcing agencies and with NSI/SB.
∎ Proactive & professional handling of crisis situation like accident, Fire incident, theft issue etc.
∎ Maintain statutory affairs like Factory license, Fire license, Environment license, Trade license, BSTI, BGMEA, PDB/REB/DESA, WASA, T&T, City Corporation etc.
∎ Ensure "General Service" like Housekeeping, Electricity, Gas, Water etc.
∎ Providing logistic support for smooth execution of operation required by any department.
∎ Ensure transportation management (Scheduling, tracking, maintenance & documentation) and submit report to the management on regular basis.
∎ Maintain liaison with BRTA and other respective concerns for smooth transport operations.
∎ Management (fitness, renewal of tax token, insurance coverage, regular or emergency maintenance etc.) of company vehicles and take necessary action as per requirement.
∎ ### Security Activities:
∎ Maintain discipline of the security personnel & section
∎ Tightening up of security measures as per direction of the management
∎ Regular inspection of security post and sensitive points of the factory at day & night
∎ Preventing theft/pilferage in factories area and entrance of unauthorized person including forcible occupation of land/property of the factory
∎ Carrying out important investigation & maintain liaison with local administration
∎ Ensure that all security personals are in right order and perform the duties as per the requirement
∎ Be responsible about the activities of the security personnel's of the factories area
∎ Work with CCTV surveillance team
∎ Be aware of the fire and emergency procedures, and department's responsibility in an emergency
∎ Individual instructions for each post, attendance, use of security equipment, dress standard, training etc.
∎ To maintain the security operations manual up to date for use by all on site security personnel to cover duties
∎ Ensure all physical security to all the section of the company
∎ To manage and provide effective leadership to the security team and ensure that resources are appropriately and efficiently allocated to key areas of work and those priorities are always covered adequately
∎ Overall responsibility for all the security staffs activities.
∎ ### Fire & Safety Activities:
∎ To check machine maintenance and fire related books, registers, logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
∎ Maintain discipline in all production area regarding Fire prevention, safety, & Security.
∎ Tightening up of fire security measures as per direction of the management.
∎ Maintain and ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & unblock evacuation for all employees.
∎ Regular inspection of fire security post and sensitive points of the factory.
∎ Monitor, Review & check-up regularly all types of fire Instruments.
∎ To identify the fire hazards areas and to take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Sensitive area must be always on fire, safety, and security to all workers and employees.
∎ To train up all workers / staffs / employees on fire safety, protection, fighting and first-aid on demonstration basis and to make the mission success.
∎ Ensure that all fire security personnel are in right order and perform the duties as per the requirement.
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & building.
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly.
∎ Report to management in case of any fire and any risk. Any other assignment given by the management from time to time.
∎ Maintain and ensure safety in all production area and make sure a free & un-block evacuation for all employees.
∎ Regular/ weekly fire training with fire safety team & general workers. Maintain discipline in all production area regarding fire prevention.
∎ Ensure Building Infrastructure safety as per Bangladesh National Building Cord (BNBC).
∎ Full Experience about Fire Safety Plane and make sure Fire Safety Plane as per Fire Service Civil Defence rule and Bangladesh National Building Code ( BNBC)
∎ Have knowledge on installation of Fire Detection System as per NFPA-72 , and as well as installing Fire Hydrant system (Fire protection System) as per NFPA - 13 & 14
∎ Make RSC/ACCORD & ALLINCE check list as per NFPA standard.
∎ ### House-keeping Activities:
∎ Manage and lead a large number of cleaners for the factory.
∎ Monitor and follow up compliance guidelines on cleaning procedures and workplace safety.
∎ Monitor cleaning material stock level & cleaning equipment condition. Timely request purchase of consumables, equipment and materials.
∎ Judiciously plan work schedule, distribute work, ensure implementation and inspect daily.
∎ Identify training needs for all cleaning staff and arrange training for them accordingly.
