Experience:

• At least 12 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Bangladesh University of Textiles,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology students will get preference

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in weaving operations in a reputed textile group, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of modern weaving machinery (Airjet, Rapier etc.) and advanced production systems.

• Proven track record in productivity improvement, cost reduction, and workforce management.

Operational Management

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the weaving division to ensure smooth production flow.

• Monitor machine efficiency, utilization, and downtime; ensure timely maintenance to reduce breakdowns.

• Ensure production targets (quantity, quality, delivery timeline) are achieved within defined cost parameters.

• Implement modern techniques (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma etc.) to enhance efficiency and reduce wastage.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with international textile quality standards.

• Minimize fabric defects through process improvement and close monitoring of weaving operations.

• Collaborate with QA/QC team to resolve quality issues proactively.

People Management

• Supervise and guide Managers, Executives, Supervisors, and Workers to achieve departmental goals.

• Identify training needs, skill development initiatives, and succession planning for the weaving workforce.

• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with Production Planning & Control (PPC), Spinning, Dyeing, and Finishing units to maintain smooth production pipeline.

• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and maintenance departments for operational alignment.

• Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.

Cost & Resource Management

• Control operational costs, reduce wastage, and optimize resource utilization.

• Monitor raw material (yarn) consumption, minimize variance, and reduce cost of production.

• Drive energy-saving initiatives in the weaving division.

Strategic Contribution

• Participate in business strategy formulation for the weaving division.

• Benchmark industry best practices and adopt suitable ones for competitive advantage.

• Support management in capacity expansion, technology upgradation, and automation projects.
