∎ Proven experience as a Server Administrator or in a similar role.
∎ Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Linux Professional Institute Certification) is a plus.
∎ Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling through video content.
∎ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
∎ Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
∎ Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
∎ Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
∎ Understanding of networking protocols and services.
∎ Proven experience as a Server Administrator or in a similar role.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Install and configure server hardware and software components.
∎ Set up and maintain server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
∎ Ensure proper system and server resource allocation.
∎ Perform regular system updates and patch management.
∎ Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
∎ Conduct system and software upgrades as needed.
∎ Implement and maintain server security protocols.
∎ Monitor network and server security to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
∎ Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
∎ Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
∎ Regularly test and update backup procedures.
∎ Ensure data integrity and rapid recovery in case of system failures.
∎ Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
∎ Implement access controls and authentication mechanisms.
∎ Monitor and audit user activity for security compliance.
∎ Configure and manage network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
∎ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
∎ Collaborate with network engineers for seamless integration.
∎ Maintain comprehensive system documentation.
∎ Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

The DevOps / Server Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of server hardware and software systems. This role involves configuring, managing, and optimizing server performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security measures.
