Responsibilities & Context:
Perform HVAC load calculations, system sizing and equipment selection in accordance with requirements and code standards (ASHRAE, NEPA, local codes)
Develop detailed HVAC system designs including ducting, piping and equipment layout using AutoCAD/ Revit Or similar design tools.
Prepare design documents BOQ specifications and technical report form projects.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers and other stakeholder to ensure integrated Design solutions.
Review vendor drawing, specifications, equipment submittals for compliance with design and project standers.
Support tendering and bidding processes by providing technical inputs and clarifications.
Conduct site visits for design validation, installation supervision and troubleshooting as required.
Ensure energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Prepare as-built drawings material takes-offs, and BOQ reports.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies for continuous improvement.
