Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical relevance, cost-efficiency and quality of projects
∎ Support in ensuring the technical relevance and consistency of all programs vis-à-vis the needs of the populations and local context.
∎ Support in harmonizing BoQs, technical SOPs/ToRs and approaches with the support of PMs across bases and the engineering team in Teknaf.
∎ Ensure the development and implementation of SI's HP strategy based on behavior change across bases.
∎ Ensure proper implementation of SI's Water Quality SOPs for all bases and support the good running of SI' laboratory in Teknaf
∎ Contribute to the validation of the technical relevance of WASH assessments carried out.
∎ Contribute to the identification, design and implementation of evaluation missions.
∎ Perform regular field visits to SI's WASH and multi-sectorial projects to provide technical inputs for improvement of program quality
∎ Produce terms of reference before each visit and a field visit report after the visit including SWOT on implemented activities, related recommendations and planning / timeframe.
∎ Support project teams in any aspects required by delegation of the WASH Coordinator (including gap filling of deputy program manager position).

∎ Operational monitoring and evaluation
∎ Contribute to review project activity reports (APUs, Activity Forms) from different projects and produce monthly WASH activity progress report.
∎ Along with the MEAL department and support of the PMs, contribute to the review of project surveys (PDM, end-line, etc.) in line with WASH Sector's and government's recommendations.
∎ Support the WASH Coordinator in developing harmonized activity processes, monitoring and evaluation systems (between bases).
∎ Contribute to the development of technical guidelines and quality assurance tools to improve quality of programming.
∎ Contribute to ensure harmonization of approaches, tools, and methodologies used in the different WASH programs.
∎ Support MEAL Coordination and department in analyzing WASH indicators and quality of interventions.
∎ Contribute to ensuring that program managers monitor and evaluate the activities implemented.
∎ Upon request, support in conducting WASH needs assessments (develop tools, conduct training, supervise teams, etc.).
∎ Conduct key informant interviews/focus group discussions to understand WASH situations where needed.
∎ Strategic orientation
∎ Contribute to the identification, design and implementation of diagnostic missions.
∎ Support the WASH Coordinator in the monitoring and analysis of SI's WASH intervention and the analysis of the donors' strategies for the organization's activities.
∎ Upon request, to participate in donors reporting writing and participate in the WASH strategy development.
∎ Support in the identification of suitable new WASH activities.
∎ Support the WASH Coordinator in programming work.
∎ Based on WASH analysis, provide recommendations for future programming/re-programming of current programs.
∎ Conduct regular desk review to assess the WASH situation (humanitarian agencies report, articles, analysis, etc.) and available new methods or technologies that could be relevant to the context.

∎ Capitalization
∎ Contribute to ensuring that capitalization tools are correctly used by project managers.
∎ Contribute in the centralization and dissemination of procedures, guides and tools linked to activities.
∎ Contribute to improvements to existing tools.
∎ Contribute to the capitalization of methods, designs (BoQs) and techniques (ToRs), and on the experiences acquired by SI and others actors in the field.
∎ Conduct lesson learnt workshops with field teams to capitalize on experience and lessons learnt.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with WASH partners to share/learn from their experience and best practices.

∎ Capacity Building
∎ Identify training requirements within the programs' teams and the resources available locally.
∎ Contribute to the design and implementation of technical training in line with operational needs.
∎
∎ Reporting / communication / representation
∎ Support in the consolidation of activity reports by collecting/providing all relevant information from field level to respond partners/donors requests.
∎ Represent SI in Dhaka National WASH Cluster meetings and Cox Bazar WASH Sector meetings with the WASH Coordinator or in his/her absence.
∎ Support in updating and sharing all cluster and sector reporting documents (4W, weekly reporting, ...).
∎ Represent SI in Technical Working Groups.
∎ Support the WASH Coordinator as Co-Lead of the Teknaf Host Community coordination group in organizing and leading meetings, sharing minutes and following up on action points and coordination of partners, especially during emergency responses such as during epidemic or disasters).
∎ Support Teknaf SI team for coordination activities at camps level (Camp Focal Points) if needed.
∎ Support all field teams across bases in coordinating and responding to epidemics or other disasters (cyclone, floods) with technical guidance and by attending strategic and coordination meetings.

∎ Profile with WASH background, NGO experience and strong skill for coordination and representation.
∎ Must have Humanitarian Experience and WASH Experience.
∎ Good level of Engilish both written and speaking.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross salary 105,000 BDT and other benefits as per ISR of Solidarités International.
