Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Science/ MSC/ MA from any reputed (UGC Approved) University, not less than 2nd Class in any certificate.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leading and Supervising Multidisciplinary teams engaged in planning and implementation of resettlement and land acquisition activities.
∎ Drafting of Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plan as well as information brochure following the GOB laws and Co-financier's social safeguard policy/guideline.
∎ Developing the format of socio economic survey (SES), joint verification and market survey form for conduction census in assigned projects.
∎ Assisting to the project executing agency for Land acquisition and requisition following the acquisition and requisition act of Bangladesh.
∎ Assisting and providing logistical support in the preparation and finalization of the Field Book of the DC for affected properties of Title holders which will be signed by the project executing agency;
∎ Checking and editing of plot index with land schedule.
∎ Assisting and providing logistical support during the survey conducted by CCDB, DC, UNO, AC Land & project executing agency;
∎ Assisting the project executing agency and DC office in organizing the DLACs & CLACs meeting;
∎ Developing of Policy Matrix acceptable to GOB and Co-financial agency e.g. ADB, JICA, World Bank etc.
∎ Drafting of Monthly/ Periodical/ Special / Inception/ Annual/ Closing Report, Booklet/Information Brochure and Power Point Presentation.
∎ Liaison with Project Executing Agency, Deputy Commissioners, AC Land, UNO, UP Chairman, ADC (revenue), local leaders, consultant, officials of co-financial agency e.g. ADB, JICA, World Bank and other stakeholder.
∎ Arrangement and Participation in Meetings / Workshop;
∎ Monitoring, Supervision and evaluation on all land acquisition and resettlement activities;
∎ Conducting Stakeholders meetings with competent authority.
∎ Ensuring personal integrity, transparent and accountable working environment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Minimum 15 (Fifteen) years service experience, where 10 (Ten) years in Resettlement activities.
∎ Have good facilitation, communication, networking and team building skills.
∎ Have good writing skills in preparing report in English and Bangla
∎ Have experience in extensive field visits
∎ Excellent computer literacy is a must
