Job Context:
∎ This is a Senior Level Position. Best Mark Group is looking for proactive, energetic and highly motivated Professionals as Head of Food Industries with relevant experience & knowledge in Planning & Operations for setting-up Atta, Maida, Suji, Rice, Masala, Soybean Oil, Mustard Oil and Chanachur Factories. He/ She will be responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of Food Products and Processes.
∎ Job Location: Corporate Office, Banani, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee all activities related to set-up the above Factories including Resource Management, Facility Maintenance and upgrades.
∎ Check and improve safety and Quality Control Procedures from the "Raw Material Stage" through to the Finished Product.
∎ Meticulous attention to detail, especially with regard to food hygiene and safety.
∎ Research current Consumer Markets and latest Technologies to develop new Product Concepts.
∎ Prepare and execute annual and quarterly Production Budget for operations and assessment.
∎ Work with the Chairman/ Managing Director to produce Capital and Operating Budgets.
∎ Plan and execute the Production Programs and scheduling to obtain maximum efficiency in adherence to the Environmental Standards.
∎ Ensure that Systems are implemented and maintained to improve the Production Performance whilst minimizing risks associated with selective Areas.
∎ Develop and maintain proper SOPs, Systems, Techniques and Procedures.
∎ Identify environmental requirements of a particular Production Item, and prepare the Site for the same.
∎ Consult with Food Scientist, Technologist, Food/ Chemical Engineer, Biochemist, Nutritionist, Microbiologist or Chemist and other Concerned to obtain data concerning of the Industry requirements.
∎ Collect and record Production Data of respective Industries.
∎ Monitor to ensure optimum level of Productions.
∎ Devise and participate in activities to improve the Production Processes.
∎ Maintain the Site Inventory Level in consultation with RSM & Factory-in-Charge.
∎ Conduct and supervise Stock examinations in order to identify EOQ Level.
∎ Prepare and execute planning for Production Inputs, Equipment, Tools and Human Resources for establishing Inventory Levels.
∎ Determine how to allocate resources, and how to respond to unanticipated problems such as fire hazard, natural disaster and pandemic diseases.
∎ Supervise Production related Equipment and ensure all equipment is up to date and well maintained.
∎ Supervise training of the Support Officers and Workers by the Factory-in-Charge.
∎ Report Writing to the Chairman/ Managing Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ To be selected for this role you will have a minimum of 20 years direct experience in the Food. Industry Sector with 10 years HR Management experience.
∎ Detailed understanding of Food Industry.
∎ Practical experience in Production Management.
∎ Strong leadership and Strategic Planning ability.
∎ Time bound & ability to work under pressure.
∎ Good team building, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
∎ Good intellectual.
∎ Problem Solving and Decision-Making Capabilities.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
∎ Good analytical and numerical skills.
