Job Context:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Deputy Manager/Manager – Trade Marketing to drive trade marketing strategies and ensure strong in-market execution. The role will be responsible for planning and implementing trade promotions, managing merchandising activities, and enhancing brand visibility across retail and modern trade channels.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives.
Design and implement channel- and retailer-specific promotions, bundles, loyalty programs and activation campaigns.
Plan and manage monthly trade schemes, sales forecasts and annual budgets to ensure optimal ROI.
Lead and manage the merchandising team to ensure strong product visibility, product placement and display branding.
Develop and implement plans to enhance brand visibility and shopper engagement across retail and modern trade channels.
Plan, develop and oversee deployment of POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) in line with brand and merchandising guidelines.
Coordinate with marketing teams, agencies and vendors for timely production and execution of in-store materials and displays.
Conduct regular market visits to audit retail execution, gather competitor insights and identify growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key trade partners.
Manage trade spends, including trade allowances (TA), promotional budgets and partner incentives, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
