Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• BSc in Civil Engineering,  architecture or a similar field from an accredited university.

• Further education or pertinent professional certifications will be regarded as an advantage.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, Real Estate, Real Estate Startup

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Candidates should have 7-10 years experience in one or more of the following fields.

• Construction Company o Engineering Consultancy

• Infrastructure Development

• Project Management in Construction Firm.

• Building Construction

• Bangladeshi nationals aged 30 to 40 years are eligible to apply.

• Thorough knowledge of the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), RAJUK regulations, and other construction-related laws.

• Experience in supervising residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects.

• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

• A thorough understanding of construction materials, quality control, and site safety procedures.

• Experience with contractor management, vendor coordination, and consultant oversight.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and project management tools such as MS Project.

• Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiating, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to work under duress while meeting project deadlines.

• Willingness to visit project locations anywhere in Bangladesh as needed.

• Membership in the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) will be considered an additional benefit.

• Candidates with prior experience in a reputable real estate development company will be given preference.

The Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) is seeking for a skilled, proactive, and results-driven professional to fill the role of Deputy Manager (Technical). The incumbent will be in charge of planning, coordinating, and monitoring technical activities associated with construction projects, as well as ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational rules. The position will collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, developers, and government officials to ensure that projects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and supervise building and development projects from start to finish.

• Examine the architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and utility drawings.

• Ensure adherence to BNBC, RAJUK regulations, and other applicable laws.

• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and utility service suppliers.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control.

• Generate project timelines, technical reports, and progress reports.

• Monitor project progress and recommend corrective steps as needed.

• Participate in technical meetings and offer engineering solutions.

• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Coordinate approval activities with RAJUK and other regulatory bodies.

• Keep adequate records of all technical activity.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.
