Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Deputy Manager - Quality, Compliance & Reporting is one of the key positions in SCI Bangladesh central Procurement and Supply Chain department.
∎ S/he will be mainly responsible for providing management assurance in regards to quality management, compliance assurance and reporting activities related to procurement and supply chain in line with organizational policy and donor rules & regulations.
∎ The role is expected to set standards/specification of goods and services that to be procured, independently verify procurement process compliance and quality standards, keep documentation and report on performance indicators and process compliance.
∎ Responsibilities include, s/he will monitor all quality-related activities, e.g. local and international procurement, stock management, warehousing, documentation and also will act as point person to coordinate development of relevant policy & procedures, audit response and vendor performance management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of procurement & supply chain with significant involvement in quality, compliance and reporting activities.
∎ Demonstrated experience in logistics in emergency response is an added advantage.
∎ Experience working with international NGOs desirable.
∎ Sound knowledge of international standards related to procurement and supply chain.
∎ Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis & reporting
∎ Good English language communication skills (both oral and written).
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft office and internet applications.
∎ Ability to work in high stress situations such as emergency response.
