Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity planning.
∎ Supervision & Management: Lead and supervise the production team to ensure targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
∎ Quality Control: Oversee the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
∎ Inventory Management: Monitor raw material usage and finished goods inventory to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the manufacturing process to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve quality.
∎ Maintenance Coordination: Ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
∎ Staff Development: Train and mentor production team members, conducting performance evaluations and ensuring continuous improvement.
∎ Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for upper management on production performance, costs, and efficiency.
