Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute procurement plans based on production forecasts and inventory levels
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials (chemicals, fragrances, oils, etc.) and packaging (bottles, caps, labels, cartons)
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (local & international)
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
Ensure all materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements (BSTI, GMP, etc.)
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for supplier approvals and audits
Handle import procurement processes (LC opening, documentation, customs coordination)
Manage local sourcing efficiently with competitive pricing
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
