Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Merchandising, Post-Graduation from any reputed university in Bangladesh will be acceptable.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with Sourcing Managers to develop right production from right factories & allocate bulk order to appropriate factories.
∎ Understand Merchandising Calendar. Plan & execute product development from existing or new suppliers and make sure samples sent to buyer on time meeting specification & requirements.
∎ Cross check costing, verify & negotiate before sending to sourcing manager.
∎ Negotiate delivery & workout realistic Time & Action plan from suppliers for on time delivery.
∎ Work with the factories to resolve if there is capacity, lead-time and delivery issues.
∎ Track all submission & approvals to ensure TNA is maintained and bulk materials are ready by set deadline & also Fitting/styling are approved to start production.
∎ Ensure communication of delivery & capacity problems.
∎ Identify capability gaps & manage KPI. Develop the competence & capabilities within existing suppliers aligned with the long-term strategy and manage relationship with suppliers.
∎ Ensure that the vendors understand and respect company's values, Ethics, SOP, requirements and standards.
∎ Support Ad hoc assignments as necessary by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 years of experience in knit garments merchandising. At least 5 years of experience in vertical knit factory.
∎ Must have in depth knowledge in yarn quality, yarn price, knitting, dyeing, finishing and total fabrication cost.
∎ Understand knit garments production lead time from yarn making to garment packing.
∎ Must be able to do costing of all kinds of knit garments. Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.
∎ Must have knowledge & experience in different kind of printing.
∎ Must have knowledge in logistic & commercial team and processes.
∎ Should be a team builder
∎ Should be able to work under extensive pressure & solve problem creatively.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.
