Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager/Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to lead end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management. The role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency, optimize costs, and mentor a high performing team while ensuring smooth, timely, and quality deliveries across our network.

Job Nature: Full time from Saturday to Thursday (6 days a week)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategy and Development:

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics operation vision, strategy, policies, processes, procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

Inventory:

• Oversee the weekly stock reports

• Keep track of damage reports for unloaded containers and prepare the warehouse reports

• Compare, register, prepare inventories in warehouse against the software stock list and follow-up the discrepancies

• Review the stock reports with SCM once a month at Corporate Office to add material in transit and double-check in SAP Software

• Prepare the inventory of Dhaka Showrooms

• Monitor the inventory of CTG showroom from the CTG sales team and register it to the software

• Prepare, check and verify annual stock reports in conjunction with SCM

Logistics & Deliveries:

• Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers

• Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance

• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements

• Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs

• Supervise and monitor high value deliveries at sites and ensure smooth operations

• Resolve problems concerning transportation and logistics systems

• Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes at all sites and advise of cost implications and efficiency

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities

• Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process

• Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available

People Management:

• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

• Achieve departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports

• Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required

• Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors
