∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience in the banking sector, NGO or any relevant field.
∎ Expertise in MS Office.
∎ Knowledge of FD-6 and FD-4, financial accounting, TAX, VAT and gender-sensitive budgeting.
∎ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
∎ Ability to execute projects independently and work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and review yearly budgets for programmes, ensuring detailed plans for major projects and activities, in coordination with team members.
∎ Analyse financial data relevant to GJD and other standalone projects.
∎ Take the lead in obtaining approvals from the NGO Affairs Bureau for foreign donor-funded projects. Ensure compliance with FD-6, FD-7, FC-1, FD-2, and FD-3 for project approval and fund release.
∎ Review financial statements, provide necessary documents to external auditors, and ensure timely submission of FD-4 for all donor-funded projects. Review audit reports upon submission.
∎ Serve as the focal point for grants within GJD, and share monthly financial reports with key stakeholders.
∎ Assist in providing budget code to relevant stakeholders/departments.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ This position involves establishing budgetary control, developing programme/project budgets meeting the donor’s criteria, and aiding in overall financial planning. The Deputy Manager of Finance and Grants will advise on resource optimisation, and manage NGO bureau tasks. This position ensures efficient resource allocation to support our mission effectively.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
