∎ Master’s Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies or other related disciplines.
∎ Clear knowledge and understanding of social norms within the project context (both geographic and technical context).
∎ Strong Knowledge on social dimension, structure of the government including laws and policies formulation process, power dynamics, government relations.Attitude that is team focused with the skills and ability to work independently and collaborate among an interdepartmental collaborative environment.
∎ Supervisor/Management, Interpersonal, organizational savvy, Problem solving, negotiation, communication and collaborative skills, time management, management ability
∎ Holistic Understanding of poverty and development
∎ Training and facilitation skills
∎ Strong written and oral communication skill
∎ At least 6 to 8 years’ progressively experience with an inter/national NGO/relevant development agencies in skills development for youth, social safety net programs to promote gender equity, including designing and facilitating training on youth, and/or youth’s program analysis, and youth targeted support.
∎ Demonstrated/ Proven experience in working with inter- departmental, cross –organizational and cross-cultural teams
∎ Extensive experience working with relevant government agencies as well as local and international NGOs
∎ Proven management ability & Proven experience as a team player
∎ Educational Qualifications:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) is gearing up for an exciting initiative, the EARN project, aimed at enhancing access to education and relevant skills development opportunities for NEET youth in the Rangpur division. This significant endeavor will be undertaken in joint venture with UCEP, focusing on a broad range of activities including community engagement, socio-emotional training, and direct employment support for the youth. The project is poised to make a substantial impact on the local community by fostering inclusion, supporting gender and social norms, and improving childcare facilities in VLTCs to facilitate greater participation in WVB's programs.
∎ The purpose of this position is to ensure inclusive practices are integrated across project activities.
∎ Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project. Bangladeshi national candidates and females are highly encouraged to apply. The anticipated duration of the contract will be 48 months from the date of joining.
∎ Key Deliverables:
∎ The Youth and Social Inclusion Specialist will tailor programs for youth, emphasizing civic engagement and capacity building. He/she will provide mentorship support to youth for confidence, skills, and leadership, advocating for their rights. Additionally, he/she will bring strong communication, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity to positive youth development.
