Experience requirements:

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in field mobilisation, awareness campaigns, or youth-focused projects. Working with migration or trafficking issues is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-national projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
  • Proven experience in budget planning, cost control, and efficient resource management.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose: The Outreach Officer will be responsible to execute field-level awareness activities under the guidance of the MRSC Coordinator. This includes conducting direct outreach with at-risk youth, facilitating community sessions, organizing localized campaign events, and ensuring that accurate information reaches vulnerable populations. The role will also support building rapport with local leaders and documenting field outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducted community outreach and awareness sessions for youth, school dropouts, job seekers, and other at-risk groups on safe migration and human trafficking prevention.
  • Facilitated interactive awareness campaigns and group discussions in schools, colleges, marketplaces, religious institutions, and other community settings.
  • Planned and coordinated community engagement events for international observances, including the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
  • Mapped and identified high-risk communities vulnerable to irregular migration through field assessments and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborated with Community Mobilizers, Field Organizers, and volunteers to execute outreach initiatives and ensure effective field coordination.Built and maintained strategic partnerships with local government officials, community leaders, educators, religious leaders, and media representatives to strengthen program outreach.
  • Represented the organization at district-level coordination meetings, advocating for safe migration, youth empowerment, and anti-human trafficking initiatives.
  • Conducted community outreach and awareness sessions for youth, school dropouts, job seekers, and other at-risk groups on safe migration and human trafficking prevention.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
