Habitat for Humanity International (“HFHI”) is a non-profit faith-based organisation dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. Habitat for Humanity International Bangladesh office (HFHI-B) is currently looking for interested and qualified candidates for the position of MEAL Intern.
Purpose of The Role: The Intern- MEAL will support the MEAL department in developing and optimizing HFHI-B’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning system. The intern will assist the Manager- MEAL in improving tools, databases, reporting formats, dashboards, documentation systems, and learning processes.
The intern will also support regular MEAL activities, including data collection, data entry, data cleaning, feedback documentation, reporting support, and preparation of evidence-based summaries. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, basic analytical skills, confidentiality, and respect for safeguarding and ethical data management.

Understand Habitat for Humanity’s Meal system
Hands on experience on developing tools, dashboard
Learn Meal reporting
Develop professional workplace skills, including confidentiality, coordination, and reporting
Key Responsibilities
(Includes but is not limited to the following)
Support the MEAL Manager in developing, updating, and optimizing MEAL tools, templates, databases, dashboards, and reporting formats.
Assist in data entry, data cleaning, data validation, and basic analysis for project monitoring and reporting.
Support survey preparation, data collection, verification, and documentation of findings.
Help maintain indicator tracking sheets, MEAL records, assessment reports, feedback logs, and learning documents.
Prepare simple charts, tables, summaries, meeting notes, learning notes, and evidence-based reporting inputs.
Support use of digital data collection platforms such as Kobo, Google Forms, Excel, or similar tools.
Maintain confidentiality, follow safeguarding principles, and apply ethical data management practices.
