Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in learning and development, training coordination, programme implementation, or capacity-building functions will be preferred.

The position is responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and facilitating high-quality learning and development initiatives that strengthen individual and organizational capabilities. The role ensures the effective delivery of learning programmes through innovative facilitation, robust learning design, and systematic evaluation while maintaining comprehensive learning records and knowledge resources. It promotes a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, enabling employees to build competencies that support organizational goals and sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and facilitate engaging learning and development programmes using participatory learning methodologies, adult learning principles, and innovative facilitation techniques to maximize learning effectiveness.

  • Develop, review, and continuously improve training curricula, facilitator guides, learning materials, assessments, and other instructional resources to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Prepare and monitor annual and monthly learning plans, implementation schedules, budgets, and performance indicators to ensure the timely and effective execution of learning initiatives.

  • Conduct field visits, learning needs assessments, and stakeholder consultations to identify capability gaps, capture field insights, and integrate practical experiences into learning interventions.

  • Coordinate and facilitate organizational learning initiatives, including Development Days, workshops, learning forums, and knowledge-sharing events to foster collaboration and a culture of continuous learning.

  • Monitor and evaluate learning programmes by collecting participant feedback, analyzing learning outcomes, preparing evaluation reports, and recommending evidence-based improvements for future interventions.

  • Strengthen organizational knowledge management by documenting best practices, lessons learned, success stories, case studies, blogs, and other learning resources to promote knowledge sharing across the organization.

  • Maintain accurate learning records, training databases, attendance reports, and programme documentation while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and audit requirements.

  • Provide strategic and operational support to management through timely reporting, analytical insights, documentation, and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and impact of learning and development initiatives.

  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of learning programmes.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by staying updated on emerging learning methodologies, facilitation techniques, and digital learning trends to enhance programme quality.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members, and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
