RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strengthen field operations at the RCMC to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of all staff, and volunteers, and ensure quality production and time management.
Contribute to strengthening the coordination of work between the RCMC core team and volunteers, including activity planning and monitoring; organizing weekly team meetings, monthly activity meetings, and ad-hoc training sessions; participating in monthly CiC or other coordination meetings; and monitoring Cash for Work (CFW) records and payments while promoting accountability and transparency.
Support RCMC, in organizing exhibitions within the camps, locally within Bangladesh, and at international level.
Contribute to the development of the IOM strategy in Cox’s Bazar for Rohingya Memory and Cultural Centre (RCMC) towards the provision of integrated Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Services for all levels of the RCMC’s service provision as per IASC guidelines, using the community-based approach in MHPSS.
Enhance synergies with all stakeholders including, Nomaindas. Rohingya refugees, NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and donor communities.
Coordinate, monitor, and provide day to day supervision to RCMC Volunteer teams. This includes monitoring activities, organizing team meetings, addressing gaps, and providing overall support of the network to implement the field level activities
Support community mobilization strategies, activities, and participation, with emphasis on meaningful inclusion of women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities (Age, Gender, and Diversity (AGD) inclusion)).
Liaise and provide support to the , Artist Facilitator, Product Designer, copywriter, Photographer, and RCMC community volunteer team and coordinate with MHPSS Project Assisstants about designing relevant activities, monitoring their implementation, evaluating the interventions, and ensuring the smooth flow of reporting mechanisms.
Support the continues research for expansion. New activities, help with the data visualization and data analysis support in coodination with IOM MHD Data team.
Support the maintenance at the site level of an effective coordination system with IOM other units –SMSD, Protection, WASH, Health of service provision of the RCMC.
Provide administrative support to the RCMC component by coordinating logistics, procurement activities, vendor communications, and tracking purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), and related procedures to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services to the Centre.
Contribute to the design and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation system regarding all field-based activities to measure the impact on the affected communities.
Assist in the identification of gaps and opportunities for RCMC and assist in the development of interventions addressing the identified needs Provide regular reports to the MHPSS and RCMC management on activities to date and indicators achieved in line with the Monitoring and Evaluation tools developed.
Support the implementation of relevant for the RCMC field teams, humanitarian actors, key community members, and others if required and the overall management of the RCMC center.
Ensure maintenance of confidential documentation and records of all psychosocial activities implemented.
Coordinate safe custody of IOM items and equipment on the ground including maintaining an up-to-date inventory including the production/ artefacts, fire equipments, IT devise, CCTV cameras
To proactively conduct updated assessments, analyze the context at the RCMC and propose interventions to enable the expansion of IOM’s thematic coverage within the camp.
