Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the operation of the targeted number of BRAC schools, by aligning field activities with the approved project framework and ensuring timely establishment and smooth functioning.

  • Initiate and implement diverse pedagogical approaches and new interventions, by promoting innovative teaching methods and ensuring consistent quality education and related services.

  • Analyze programme outputs, outcomes, and overall performance, by reviewing data regularly, identifying progress and shortfalls, and working closely with Upazila Managers to take corrective actions.

  • Ensure effective implementation of official programme communications, by disseminating and enforcing guidelines, meeting minutes, circulars, and memoranda to meet programme requirements and compliance standards.

  • Provide regular support and guidance to Upazila Managers and relevant staff, by offering technical assistance, field-level mentoring, and problem-solving support to maintain education quality.

  • Strengthen staff capacity across the programme, by designing and facilitating capacity development initiatives for Upazila Managers, Programme Organizers, and other project staff.

  • Prepare and utilize programme reports for improvement, by analyzing findings, sharing insights with relevant teams, and initiating timely follow-up actions.

  • Maintain effective liaison with field management and external stakeholders, by coordinating with government agencies, NGOs, and partners to ensure smooth and collaborative programme implementation.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in safeguarding to establish a safe working environment

  • Practices promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follows the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourages others to do so

Educational Requirements:

Master's degree in any discipline, with strong knowledge of the Bangladesh primary education curriculum and national/global education policies; certification in project management, child protection, or GBV is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in project management in the education and development sector, including large-scale donor-funded projects, training design and facilitation, and end-to-end programme implementation.

In partnership with Educate A Child (EAC) under the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, BRAC is implementing a four-year project, "Inclusive Pathways for Learning and Resilience in Bangladesh," which is dedicated to reintegrating 76,000 out-of-school children across 12 districts in Bangladesh into the mainstream education system. By utilizing an accelerated primary learning model, the project prioritizes girls and children with disabilities in high-dropout, high-poverty, climate-vulnerable areas, addressing the root causes of exclusion through a holistic approach. This strategy integrates foundational education with essential health services, including nutrition, vision, and hygiene support, while empowering 15,000 youth to spearhead climate resilience actions. Together, these efforts create a community-driven ecosystem that ensures the next generation can recover their education and lead their communities toward a more sustainable and resilient future.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as Divisional Manager to lead the field-level implementation of this project. The role focuses on enrolling the most underprivileged children into the BRAC education system, supporting their transition into the national education stream, and reducing the number of out-of-school children (OoSC) across the intervention area. You will ensure strong programme delivery, quality assurance, and effective coordination with local stakeholders, while driving sustainable and scalable education outcomes aligned with project goals.
