• 6–8 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance, or engineering projects.

• Strong experience in maintenance management, utilities, electrical systems, and plant engineering.

• Experience in machine uptime improvement and downtime reduction.

• Knowledge of maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and downtime analysis.

• Good leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates from Battery Manufacturing Industry will be given preference.

Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager – Engineering Project will be responsible for plant engineering, project execution, maintenance management, utilities, electrical systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient plant operations, machine reliability, cost control, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering and plant development projects.

• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Supervise electrical systems and utility operations.

• Ensure machine uptime and reduce downtime through effective maintenance planning.

• Monitor MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.

• Control maintenance costs and engineering project budgets.

• Improve energy consumption efficiency and operational efficiency.

• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely purchase.

• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation/reporting.

• Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance team.
