• Diploma in Power/Automobile/Mechanical engineering.

• BSc in engineering preferable.

• More than 07 years of working experience in a reputed organization in relevant job.

• Experience on operations & maintenance of hydraulic lifting equipment.

• Experience on understanding of hydraulic and electronics schematic.

• Experience on trouble shooting of engine, hydraulics system & electronics.

• Must have ability to analysis the problem of heavy lifting equipment and its function to make best solution.

• Experience on selecting the quality spares for maintenance.

• Should have ability and intention on physical (hands on) maintenance job.

• Should have good communication skills and team work.

• Should have good knowledge in Computer.

Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) is a public limited company listed with both the bourses of the country. Company is the country’s leading off-dock service provider to its valued clients with principal activities that include:

• Transportation and storage of empty containers and redelivery of the same to various locations (Inland Container Depot) as per clients` advice;

• Receiving of Export cargo, storage of the same in the bonded warehouse, documentation for export, stuffing of the cargo in the container and transportation of the same after due customs formalities to the Port Container Yard or Vessel Hook; and

• Receiving Import cargo from Port Yard, documentation, unstuffing of the cargo after due customs formalities and handing over cargo to the clients.

Besides the company, in it`s strive to diversify and expand, has also established a River Terminal on the bank of river Dhaleshwary in Mukterpur under the district of Munshiganj which on commencement, will facilitate transportation of cargo to and from Chittagong Port in addition to off-dock facilities.
The company structured with the port handling heavy equipment like; container & cargo handling heavy equipment, long vehicle, and the other mechanical machineries to maintain their activities.
SAPL is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Engineer (Automobile / Mechanical) who will have the ability to produce results with minimum supervision and is willing to grow with the Company. Other requirements for eligibility for the position are:
Major Responsibilities:

• To ensure availability equipment for 24/7 hours operation.

• Trouble shooting & repair-maintenance of all types of heavy lifting equipment.

• Prepare spares requisition. And monitor store inventory.

• Plan for preventive/schedule maintenance and execute.

• Daily equipment inspection and prepare report for advance action.

• Monitor manning for smooth operation and proper maintenance.

• Daily record keeping of equipment maintenance, availability, utilization & breakdown.

• Departmental expenditure monitor and record keeping.
