Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead our Planning department as Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Planning. The candidate must have strong expertise in production planning, capacity management, T&A monitoring, and buyer coordination. This role requires strategic thinking, efficient execution, and team leadership to ensure timely delivery and optimal production flow.

  • Lead the end-to-end production planning and execution process for both Knit and Woven divisions, ensuring optimal utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials.

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term capacity plans based on buyer projections, order confirmations, and seasonal workloads.

  • Prepare and execute capacity plans, line layouts, and manpower allocations based on style requirements, line history, and factory output.

  • Ensure synchronized planning and execution of both knit and woven projects from development to shipment.

  • Analyze and optimize SMV, SAH, CPM, and learning curves to improve productivity and reduce production costs without compromising product quality.

  • Coordinate closely with production, cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless flow and zero bottlenecks.

  • Monitor and improve plant efficiency, machine utilization.

  • Ensure line balancing, layout finalization, and thread consumption chart preparation in line with delivery priorities and style complexity.

  • Drive cost control initiatives by analyzing and reducing raw material waste, fabric loss, energy consumption, and other process inefficiencies.

  • Lead and develop a skilled planning team, providing training, support, and guidance to meet organizational goals.
