Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and sourcing agents.
∎ Lead the merchandising team to ensure on-time product development, sampling, costing, and order execution.
∎ Analyze market trends, develop marketing strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
∎ Plan and oversee the order booking process to ensure production and shipment deadlines are met.
∎ Ensure accurate costing and pricing negotiations with clients to maximize profitability.
∎ Maintain strong follow-up on all samples, approvals, and production stages.
∎ Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth order processing.
∎ Manage merchandising & marketing team performance, providing coaching and mentoring.
∎ Attend buyer meetings, fairs, exhibitions, and maintain regular communication with clients.
∎ Support senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
∎ We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated professional to lead our Merchandising & Marketing team. The candidate must have extensive knowledge in apparel marketing, product development, buyer communication, costing, and team management.
