Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects from planning to completion, ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards, Identify and mitigate construction risks, Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and staff, Review and approve civil engineering plans and designs, Stay informed about civil engineering codes and best practices, Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, technicians, and support staff, Develop and manage project budgets, Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities, Prepare and submit BOQ, Communicate project plans, progress reports, and issues to stakeholders, Prepare and submit reports to higher authorities, Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, Ensüre adherence to safety regulations on construction sites, Implement measures to minimize environmental impact during projects
