Responsibilities & Context:
Strategic Responsibilities
Direct proper installation strategy to the Engineers -Installation Department in line with the company objectives.
Oversees the preparation of the annual budget for the Installation Department and reporting sections in alignment with the Sector budget and operating plans.
Manages the annual budget spend for the Installation Department and monitors deviations if any.
Measures performance against financial and strategic KPIs for the Engineers of Installation Department and provides guidance for achievement of targets.
Core Responsibilities
Installation Planning
Contributes to the growth plan along with the head office to set annual targets for Installation Business on different parameters in line with the company objectives.
Leads and directs the Installation Engineers to manage the achievement of agreed installation targets and outcomes within schedule by ensuring the team is aligned with the set installation process framework.
Ensures that the installation process cycle for the branch is aligned with the Company’s strategy and the overall installation strategy for the organization.
Coordinates with relevant departments to develop process, policies and procedures for Installation department in the branch.
Manages the lifecycle of the installation cycle that includes planning, execution and project management of all installation sites.
Directs the installation team for coordination with the HSE and Quality department to ensure the safety and quality adhered throughout the installation process.
Installation Operations
Direct all the installation team to review and ensure the specification of the lifts as per the approval to plan and program the lift installation to meet the contract requirements.
Oversees coordination with the other departments like design department, Sales department to resolve any technical query and comments raised by the client.
Manages the supervision of site assessment visits and inspections to resolve technical issues, as per requirement.
Plan and control the subcontractors work allocation based on the budget and deliverables meeting to the customer and AG MELCO standard policies.
Directs for the skill development for the Installation team.
Manages the statistical information of sales / installation / maintenance records.
Resource Management
Prepare the infrastructure to manage the installation of back log
Plans and advises the manpower requirement well in time at regular intervals to the Branch Managers.
Assesses the performance of the installation Manager on a regular basis and suggests for skill development required for the work.
People Management Responsibilities
Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the Installation function in the respective branches and ensure effective implementation of the AG Melco performance management process.
Manage the team members by evaluating their performance providing feedback on an on-going basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure capability development.
Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Branch Manager in order to meet sector objectives
