Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Security Management: Develop, implement, and manage security strategies and frameworks to protect organizational assets.
∎ Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor systems for security breaches, malware, and suspicious activity using advanced threat detection tools.
∎ Incident Response: Lead or participate in the investigation and remediation of security incidents, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies.
∎ Vulnerability Management: Regularly perform security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address potential risks.
∎ Network Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security infrastructure.
∎ Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the organization complies with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST) and perform regular risk assessments.
∎ Data Protection: Develop and enforce data protection policies, including encryption standards, backup strategies, and data loss prevention (DLP) techniques.
∎ Security Awareness: Conduct security awareness training for employees and provide expert guidance on maintaining security best practices.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related area.
∎ Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Antivirus Software, and DLP systems.
∎ In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption algorithms, and firewalls.
∎ Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).
∎ Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk management, and incident response.
∎ Familiarity with common security standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST.
∎ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information through proactive risk management, threat mitigation, and implementing best security practices. The role includes working closely with IT teams to develop strategies, tools, and processes for identifying and responding to cyber threats.
