∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions and processes.
∎ Administer and maintain both network and endpoint security controls, primarily focused on tier 2/3 support.
∎ Maintaining proper saturation of endpoint security controls; versions, scoping and exclusions.
∎ Assist in the designing, planning, testing and implementation phases of information security technology projects.
∎ Working with the following security segments.
∎ Application Security
∎ Data Security
∎ Database and Infrastructure Security
∎ End Point Security
∎ Network Security
∎ Assist in efforts related to the successful implementation of information security systems into production while following standards and procedures.
∎ Work within existing relationships with key support partners, line of business representatives and vendors.
∎ Assist in implementation of complex medium-to-large scale enterprise projects.
∎ Assist in development of innovative improvements.
∎ Participate in investigating, evaluating and incorporating best practices based on knowledge of environment analysis.
∎ Support various security tools such as Endpoint Protection, SIEM, EDR, Intrusion Detection, Firewalls, Secure Email Gateway, Cloud Security Platforms, Web Application Firewall, and Secure Web Gateway, to log, monitor and support security activities.
∎ Analyze assessment results and threat feeds to properly react to security weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
∎ Investigate, analyze, coordinate and report on all security events, incidents and intrusions, track incidents through analysis, diagnosis, correction and resolution.
∎ Perform periodic security assessments and review for evidence of vulnerability or compromise, and assist or coordinate mitigation and remediation.
∎ Assist in the research of vendors and technology for network and desktop security to determine those which best meet the needs.
∎ Serve as an expert technical resource, to advise and assist in security issues, both proactively and reactively.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have 3+ years of experience in development positions within the cybersecurity industry.
∎ Proactive, accountable, self-directed, humble and solution oriented.
∎ Prior experience in security design and analysis; defense in depth analysis; configuring and managing security devices, incident handling & response; troubleshooting security related issues.
∎ CompTIA Security+ Certified
∎ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
∎ EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)
∎ CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker
∎ Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
∎ Certified information systems security professional (CISSP)
∎ GSEC / GCIH / GCIA: GIAC Security Certification
