Experience:
Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration from a reputed public or UGC-approved private university.
Professional degrees such as MBM or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
No 3rd Division/Class or equivalent CGPA/GPA in any academic record is acceptable.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in the Credit Department of a commercial bank as a permanent employee.
Hands-on experience in credit proposal preparation, either at the Branch level or within the Credit Risk Management Division (CRMD).
Strong practical exposure to credit underwriting, loan structuring, and portfolio monitoring.
Additional Requirements
Strong command over MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, financial modeling, data analysis, and detailed financial statement interpretation.
Excellent English writing skills, especially in preparing credit proposals, reports, and assessments.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and execute tasks independently.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and professional discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment & Appraisal: Assess credit proposals in line with the Bank’s Credit Policy, standard credit norms, and regulatory guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank.
Risk Evaluation: Analyze credit risk, business potential, and overall economic, sectoral, regional, and political risk factors affecting creditworthiness.
Documentation Verification: Cross-verify business-related legal documents, including trade licenses, regulatory approvals, compliance certificates, and other required instruments.
Quality Credit Analysis: Ensure accurate, unbiased, and policy-compliant credit assessments supported by strong financial analysis and documentation standards.
Pre-sanction & Post-sanction Review: Conduct thorough pre-sanction due diligence and post-sanction monitoring to evaluate borrower performance and adherence to terms.
Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor credit portfolios, including Early Alert accounts, NPL & CL status, new credit exposures, and prepare visit reports for MIS updates.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with CRM guidelines, Bangladesh Bank circulars, and internal control frameworks.
Credit Risk Documentation: Prepare structured credit risk assessment reports to safeguard the Bank’s interest through well-documented evaluations and risk mitigation analysis.
Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain familiarity with banking-related laws and regulations including the Bank Company Act, Partnership Act, Bankruptcy Act, Artha Rin Adalat Act, and Negotiable Instruments Act.
Policy & Guideline Interpretation: Keep updated on Bangladesh Bank guidelines, credit-related circulars, and other financial laws impacting lending decisions.
