Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center situated in Jessore district, is one of the institution of Health and WASH Sector, established in 2010 has been providing quality drug detoxification and rehabilitation. The Center can accommodate 50 male clients at a time. DAM Health and WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of "Counselor" of Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center,Jessore Which is located at Vekutia, Jessore.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proper assessment of the client.
∎ Provide day to day individual counseling.
∎ Provide Group Counseling.
∎ Provide Family Counseling.
∎ Manage crisis situation (if occur).
∎ Conduct Psycho social education session.
∎ Maintain Confidentiality of all clients' data.
∎ Maintain close liaison with other relevant professionals like Psychiatrist, Case manager, Program staffs etc.
∎ Record keeping and maintain all kind of forms/registers, reports, files, guidelines and other documents.
∎ Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and other periodical reports as per treatment center's guideline and requirement.
∎ Participate different training, meeting, workshop, seminar, symposium organized by the head office.
∎ Extended the necessary support to other team members as and when needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 1 years of work experience in mental health counseling, drug treatment and rehabilitation treatment centers.
∎ Especially on in counseling or psychotherapy particularly drug users along with mental disorders patients.
∎ The candidate who has completed Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) training and ICAP will consider specifically.
∎ Special Training on CBT, Family Therapy, DBT will be given preference.
∎ Effective interpersonal communication skill.
∎ Operational decision making.
∎ Have to be stress tolerance.
∎ Application must have COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 - 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Other benefits will be provided as per organization policy.
