Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement a comprehensive capacity-building strategy aligned with organizational goals and project-specific requirements.
∎ Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to assess capacity-building needs for various project staff.
∎ Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and learning modules to address identified capacity gaps in technical, management, and operational skills.
∎ Customize training content for different staff levels and project-specific needs.
∎ Identify and engage external trainers or consultants when necessary to provide specialized training.
∎ Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and delivery of capacity-building programs across multiple projects.
∎ Ensure that training programs are implemented within project timelines and budget constraints.
∎ Maintain close communication with project teams to ensure that capacity-building activities align with project timelines and objectives.
∎ Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of capacity-building programs.
∎ Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continually improve training quality and relevance.
∎ Prepare regular reports on capacity-building activities, including outcomes and impact on project performance.
∎ Provide ongoing support to project staff in applying newly acquired skills to their daily work.
∎ Facilitate peer-learning sessions, mentorship programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within and across project teams.
∎ Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations, training institutions, and consultants to enhance capacity-building efforts.

∎ Job Summary/ Context:
∎ The Coordinator for Capacity Building is responsible for coordinating and implementing capacity-building initiatives across multiple projects within the organization. The role involves assessing training needs, designing and delivering capacity-building programs, and ensuring that all project staff have the skills and knowledge required to achieve program objectives effectively. The coordinator will work closely with project staffs, stakeholders, and external partners/ consultant to build capacity at both the staff and organizational levels.
