Job Summary

We are looking for two skilled cooks experienced in Japanese cuisine to support visiting Japanese delegates of a multinational company. The selected candidates will prepare authentic Japanese meals for the delegates during their stay in Dhaka. Cooking will be performed inside the delegates’ hotel rooms or designated hotel kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Japanese meals such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Japanese delegates.

• Maintain proper hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness while cooking.

• Purchase and manage necessary ingredients if required.

• Ensure food preparation aligns with Japanese taste and dietary preferences.

• Maintain kitchen utensils and cooking equipment properly.

• Coordinate with delegates or company representatives regarding meal schedules and preferences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Japanese cuisine cooking.

• Ability to prepare common Japanese dishes.

• Basic understanding of Japanese food ingredients and preparation techniques.

• Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

• Prior experience working in hotels, restaurants, or for expatriates will be an advantage.

Educational Requirements

• Culinary training or certification in cooking / hospitality preferred (not mandatory with strong experience).

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in cooking Japanese cuisine.

Additional Requirements

• Trustworthy and professional behavior.

• Flexible working hours depending on delegates’ schedule.
