∎ Line Manager: Senior Construction Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission:
∎ The Construction Engineer is in charge of developing the design and drawing of different WASH Infrastructures and different Cash For Work (CFW) schemes which are suitable according to the context and as per the proposals.
∎ S/He is also responsible for preparation of BoQ as per the design of the specific infrastructures.
∎ And after completion of the work adjusted the expenditure in line with BoQ and the additional required work.
∎ S/He ensures that standard of the implemented structure in line with the Bangladesh standard guidelines and if necessary proposes adjustment or improvements to guarantee a high standard.
∎ LIST OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Activity relevance, quality and creation
∎ Implementation and operational monitoring
∎ Cross cutting issues
∎ Reporting/ communication/ representation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years of proven working Experience with INGO/NGO and in the field as Construction Engineer.
∎ Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, exel and powerpoint) and AUTOCAD. Capacity to learn new software.
∎ Language proficiency : English and Bengali skills are required for writing, typing and speaking. Ability to speak the Chittagonian dialect is an added value.
∎ Capacity to train his/her team
∎ Well organised and with good interpersonal and communication skill.
∎ Able to communicate with tact and diplomacy and to work and communicate effectively with several stakeholders at different levels.

Salary:
∎ TK. 58,700/- (Monthly)
