∎ Advance university degree in Communications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, International Relations preferred, at least 3 - 4 years of demonstrated, progressive experience in reporting and data management.

Job Context:
∎ The Communications Officer (Data Management & Reporting) will serve as a part of the RSC Media, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team. S/he will work under the supervision of the Head of Media, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement with a matrix management with Head of Data Management.
∎ The Communication Officer (Data Management & Reporting) is fully responsible to ensure that all information and data from the FFC and other relevant sources is captured, documented, analyzed and reported in a results-based and timely manner for internal and external consumption. This includes, but is not limited to, heavy support finalizing the communication and information management of the RSC.
∎ The incumbent will be hired as Communications Officer (Reporting and Documentation). After successful completion of the probation period and depending on the performance and availability of funds, the incumbent will be promoted to Senior Communications Officer (Reporting & Documentations).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data Management and Coordination (30%):
∎ Support RSC teams in the development and maintenance of data management systems (Spreadsheets) and alignment with FFC.
∎ Prepare User Configured Reports.
∎ Maintain Management Reporting Dashboard and prepare Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Dashboard for the Leadership Team.
∎ Act as the first point of contact for RSC staff with any data management queries or concerns.
∎ Support the RSC teams to continually develop data management strategies.
∎ Advise and guide Head of Departments on Data Management best practices, including data governance policies and standards.
∎ Reporting and Communication (70%):
∎ A key responsibility in the preparation, quality assurance, and compliance, and submission of progress reports i.e., monthly update, quarterly aggregate reports, annual reports, etc.
∎ Provide high-quality editing and formatting for all internal and external reports/documents.
∎ Provide through progress reporting a continuous analysis of the achievements, facilitate project review, evaluation and audits (if relevant);
∎ Ensure timely and accurate transfer of ineligible and closed/relocated/archived factories to relevant government authorities.
∎ Develop and maintain the documentation system in collaboration with other departments.
∎ Provide relevant expert services to other departments on reporting, documentations, and communications.
∎ Support RSC external representation to Board, Government, potential donors, and other stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Successful candidates will be experienced personnel with strong technical knowledge and experience of data management and business intelligence process and tools
∎ Currently holding a mid-level position and experienced in setting reporting and documentation strategy and formulate data initiatives and delivery roadmaps.
∎ Extensive experience in communication, reporting, documentation, and publication.
∎ Excellent understanding of Data Management methods, tools, delivery approaches and architecture.
∎ Must have good IT skills (including data evaluation/analysis using relevant computer application).
∎ Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to cope with challenging situations and tight timelines.
∎ Integrity, honesty, a strong work ethic, and commitment to the goals of the RSC and the RMG industry.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
