Job Context:
∎ BYS is looking for a Communications Associate to contribute to the planning and implementing of our communication strategy to preserve our organization`s positive public perception.
∎ Your responsibilities will range from writing press releases and keeping track of BYS and its sister concern organizations mentioned in the media to educating new staff on effective external communication strategies. You will be in charge of correspondence with the press and ensure all their requests are responded to on time. Collaborating with the rest of the team, you will be in charge of consolidating and nourishing relations with the media and ensuring messaging consistency throughout our communication channels.
∎ As a valued member of our team, you will be accountable to our Program Manager. We are actively seeking a candidate who have outstanding interpersonal abilities, capable of upholding our public reputation by nurturing media engagement in our activities and achievements
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Writing and editing press releases and other supportive media content for our campaigns.
∎ Develop communications product ideas for best representing the Programmes among key stakeholders.
∎ cooperate with the rest of the team on developing the content to be featured on promotional print-outs, such as leaflets, brochures, etc.
∎ Maintaining our social media presence by developing marketing collateral and revising all marketing materials created by our copywriting team
∎ Take responsibility for preparing compelling content for senior staff meetings, including drafting public speeches, delivering research briefings, and creating impactful PowerPoint presentations.
∎ regular updating on our social media by providing support in adding and managing content, including photos, videos, and other relevant media
∎ Ensure strict adherence to all applicable communications and branding policies to maintain compliance throughout our organization.
∎ Developing and maintaining relationships with media representatives.
∎ Conducting occasional training sessions for new hires on how to speak and write on our organization's behalf.
∎ Creating quarterly and annual reports for the desired projects.
∎ Collaborate with the BYS team on all our projects.
∎ This position requires always ready-to-travel mentality and altering workstations in Dhaka, Barishal office as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Any Subject pre preferably in Media and Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Development Studie.
∎ Excellent command of written and spoken English.
∎ Microsoft Office proficiency.
∎ Adobe Photoshop, illustration, and premier pro skills (If Any)
∎ Experience in Communications or a related field (Desirable)
∎ Outstanding interpersonal skills.

mostly focus on providing financial education aid alongside health equipment that guarantees
menstrual hygiene. We are strictly ensuring the equal participation of both male and female in
leadership.
We stopped 290 early marriages and empowered hundreds, including sex-workers, towards a
better future.
