Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Communication and Journalism from any recognized universities in Bangladesh. In case of highly experienced candidates Master's degree from other disciplined will also be acceptable.
Job Context:
∎ Project Name: Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP)
∎ Project context: Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP) is an ongoing Program (CPRP) of CCDB. This program will work with more than 50 thousand beneficiaries for their empowerment and sustainable development. The program will support for organizational development, gender equality and empowerment, sustainable livelihood and food security and markets, adaption, and mitigation measures. This program covers 15 districts in Bangladesh. This program will continue up to June 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communication and Networking:
∎ Develop, support and promote organizations goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach.
∎ Develop communication materials (background briefings, info graphics, case studies, brochures, flyers etc).
∎ Other responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to other staff team members for developing and brand compliance of function specific documentation (e.g. Individuals bi-annual newsletter, Digital and Hard-copy appeals, fundraising reports, etc.).
∎ Implement and maintain core content of the web based knowledge hub and CCDB web site.
∎ Co-ordinate content generation for the website with the research and program teams e.g. news stories, case studies, films, research etc.
∎ Support CCDB Strategic & Marketing Communications for social media presence (e.g. Twitter, Face book, You-Tube and Linked-In).
∎ Assist in conducting awareness raising campaigns, events, information dissemination workshops, etc. for target groups.
∎ Participate in donor visits for showcasing project progress and achievements.
∎ Maintain documentation management system and electronic communication equipment.
∎ Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase our project's visibility among relevant stakeholders at national and international level.
∎ Identify and explore scopes for extending networks and partnership with relevant like minded organizations & institutions.
∎ Content Development & Designing:
∎ Develop content for Web based Knowledge Platform (Website) & other social media on the projects and other relevant issues.
∎ Assist in developing and designing Fact-Sheets on different Climate Technologies and writing stories and/or messages on the relevant issues from the project and beyond.
∎ Develop promotional materials including concepts and visual design for web, print and event materials.
∎ Assist in Developing Learning and other IEC materials.
∎ Web based Knowledge Management:
∎ Assist in developing web based Knowledge Hub platform.
∎ Assist in developing innovative tools for ensuring interactive learning.
∎ Develop and upload notice and/or announcement on upcoming events like Training, Seminars, Workshop, Conferences and other relevant materials.
∎ Manage web based promotional activities on a regular basis.
∎ Explore and upload up-to-date information on gender empowerment, livelihood, Climate Change and DRR issues from the programs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ At least 5 years' Experience to developed communication materials
∎ Can experience in operating standard camera for photography and videos.
∎ Can work with grass root women and farmers
∎ At least 50% time has to be spent at project locations.
∎ Fluent in speaking English.
∎ Have experience to work with media or TV channel.
∎ Have excellent presentation skills.
