∎ Graduate degree in Media and Mass Communication

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name: International Organization for Migration (IOM)
∎ Working as part of the CMC team, manage the weekly collection of data (text and images)
∎ streaming from the refugee volunteers.
∎ Regularly identify tangible and intangible Rohingya heritage and culture.
∎ Provide an efficient teamwork with the Rohingya cultural agents in the field.
∎ Maintain data archival standards and follow guidelines provided by the CMC editorial team.
∎ Support the editor, copywriter and videographer in any relevant material produced for the
∎ CMC archive.
∎ Engage actively in workshops with Rohingya individuals and key community members to
∎ define how their identity and cultural stories should be portrayed.
∎ Support the curator and CMC core team with any other tasks that might be identified or
∎ relevant to the nature of the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Have some practical experience in cultural research
∎ Have experience copywriting basic descriptive texts
∎ Having attention for detail and ability to solve problems in creative ways
∎ Show sensibility while working with refugees
∎ Ability to work under pressure and out-of-working hours
∎ Practical knowledge of photography is an asset
∎ Previous experience in humanitarian and emergency response environments is an asset Good understanding of new technologies and digital platforms
∎ Working knowledge of MS Office and creative software such Photoshop
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangladeshi language. Chittagonian and
∎ Burmese language are an asset

Salary:
∎ BDT 86000
