Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organization Name: IOM (International Organization for Migration).
∎ To contribute in the development of the IOM strategy in Cox's Bazar for provision of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services both in Levels 3 (Focused non-specialized services) and 4 (Specialized services) as per IASC guidelines and community-based approach in MHPSS for refugees and host communities
∎ To develop and facilitate the capacity building activities for relevant staff providing levels 3 and 4 (non-psychopharmacological) services e.g. IASC and WHO recommended tools, basic and advance counselling, brief therapies, PM+, IPT etc.
∎ To design and conduct trainings for psychotherapeutic interventions, customized to adults, children, youth, caregivers and families residing in Ukhiya and Teknaf
∎ Provide technical guidance for counsellors, social workers, community focal points and volunteers in providing focused non-specialized services for individuals, caregivers and support groups
∎ To contribute to the strengthening of relevant MHPSS referral pathways and networks in Cox's Bazar, customize them to the local context and sensitize partners on the modalities of referral and methodologies
∎ To contribute to the development of a comprehensive evaluation system regarding capacity building initiatives to measure the impact for service providers and the affected communities
∎ To assist in the coordination of complex cases with the MHPSS specialist, national psychiatry officer, senior counsellors and social workers
∎ To maintain appropriate records/database of capacity building initiatives, including trainings and clinical supervision sessions and any clinical/casework undertaken, and collect and collate statistics for analysis and sharing of information for weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
∎ To participate in relevant technical meetings and the camp site level as part of the MHPSS WG in Cox's Bazar and to build effective relationships with referrers and other key partner organizations
∎ To proactively conduct updated assessments and analyse the context and propose interventions to enable expansion of both IOM geographic coverage to the host community in Ukhiya and Teknaf and thematic coverage within the camp sides
∎ To undertake missions in other key locations of the Country and explore potential to apply the IOM strategy for focused services (levels 3 and 4) and provide technical support to direct service providers
∎ To perform and other duties as may be needed and agreed with the MHPSS Officer (Capacity Building Liaison)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in providing services to displaced populations, migrants, refugees or conflict affected populations
∎ Significant experience in providing clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring to national staff and non-specialists
∎ Experience and knowledge of UN and international agencies structures
∎ Experience in capacity building activities and curriculum development is an advantage
∎ Operational and field experience in health-related issues of migrated and/or displaced persons, programme development, migration health, including conceptualisation, analysis and implementation of programme, international public health and resource mobilization
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage
∎ Skill in strengthening service delivery programs, training, performance and quality improvement and monitoring and evaluation
∎ Strong oral and written communication and presentations skills in English
∎ Ability to travel up to 90% time

Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary BDT: 2,42,614.00
